Quote requests

When you submit a request we collect what you type (name, contact details, organization, the job, its location area, timing and budget band), the consent statement you accepted, the page you sent it from, and basic attribution (referrer and campaign tags). We store a one-way hash of your IP address for rate limiting, not the address itself.

We use the request to read and respond to you. If you want the work quoted, we may share the job details you provided with an electrical contractor who could do the work, only after telling you and with your agreement.

Calculators and browsing

Calculators run in your browser; nothing you enter in them is sent to us. The site stores small preferences in your browser (whether film playback is on, and the first page you landed on so a later request can be attributed). We do not use advertising cookies.

Retention and your rights

Requests are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted. You can ask to see, correct or delete a request you sent by submitting a new request marked “Privacy request” with the email address you used.

Service providers

The site is hosted by a cloud provider in North America. Fonts are served by Google Fonts.
