Every regulated number, fee and statistic on the site comes from a public source: the City of Calgary, the Government of Alberta and its Safety Codes system, the Alberta Utilities Commission, ENMAX Power’s approved terms, Statistics Canada, Job Bank and Natural Resources Canada. Each page lists its sources and the date they were checked. Permit and inspection figures come from the City of Calgary’s open data.
Requests for quotes
When you send a request, a person reads it and replies by email or phone, usually with questions first. We will tell you before your details are shared with an electrical contractor, and we only share them if you agree.
We do not rank, certify or review contractors, and we do not publish ratings. Every electrician who works on your job must hold the certification Alberta requires and take out the permit the work needs; the hiring guide explains how to check.
